How to find the centre of mass of an irregular object?
Drill three holes on the plane lamina. A pin is push in one of the hole and the plane is allowed to swing freely and vertically. A plunbline is attached to the pin and a line is drawn behind the string. The procedure is repeated for the other holes. The point of intersection of the three lines is the centre of mass.
